Love the guy. Own him on 3 of my 4 teams and am currently in negotiations to get him on my 4th. He is a huge wrecking ball of nasty hatred. Multi-cat stallion. Is the #1 D in one of my leagues, where I drafted him with my last pick. Can't get much better value than that.
Gudas is a multi-cat stud, and his coach (who had him in the minors) loves him and has been giving him top-4 minutes. He'll continue to be a massive contributor in hits, PIM, blocked shots, along with decent sog and some points here and there. He did get a PP goal last game, and if Salo or Carle go down, I could see him getting a bit more PP time as he has a hard shot.
I drafted him in our prospect draft and wanted to see how much ice he's get, but I've loved what I have seen and called him up to the mai roster. Guy is super fun to watch.

I don't use this word very often, in fact, typically I use it to describe Milan Lucic...but Radko Gudas is a BEAST in every meaning of the word. He's become a fixture in TB's top four defenseman, playing exclusively with Matt Carle. He'll only ever get a significant amount of powerplay time if the injury bug hit's Tampa Bay and even then that's not a guarantee, but he will get some goals because he possesses a very heavy shot.
He's a wild man for sure, throwing big hits and always willing drop the gloves a good number of times every season. Thing that separates Gudas from other players cut from a similar cloth is he actually has some good hockey sense. He's becoming a stabilizing force for the Lightning and will play a prominent role for the team for the foreseeable future. There's no worry with Gudas ever getting healthy scratched either.
Any leagues that count hits, blocked shots and PIMs he's an absolute beast. Also expect him to score around 6-10 goals but at most don't expect more than 20-25 pts total for him in any given season.

Gudas should be owned in any leagues rostering 40D (or more) and including PIM & HIT.
He should probably be owned in any leagues rostering 60D (or more) with just PIM (no HIT or BLK).
