    Default Matt Moulson

How's he looked thus far. I was hoping his stats would be closer to JT's as they're line mates.. I've noticed Grabner getting a lot of points.. What gives? I know the seasons still young, I'm just wondering if maybe I should move this guy now before it's too late.

    Thanks guys..

Also BONUS Q.. Streit.. Was he touted to have a good year being in Philly that pushed his fantasy value up? OR is he just good in cats I don't have in my league, because I'm seriously considering moving him.

Grabner has gotten lucky so far since he's not given as much opportunity as Moulson. Streit was never going to do better than he did in NY, he could have a majorly disappointing season this year. I'd keep Moulson and move Streit if possible as long as it's not dumb.

    moulson sucks.
he's already been moved off the top line because he hurts the team so much at even strength and the isles finally have some other options. better options.
if capuano wasn't such a robot, he would be on the third or fourth line by now.
the one thing snow has been consistently good at as a gm is signing good value contracts and there is no way that he will resign moulson atthe price he will get on the open market. this is his last haul as an islander.
    sell him while you can.

Thanks for that tidbit, I didn't notice until I checked the lines in the third period of last night's game.

I had a tough decision to make between Moulson, Spezza and MacKinnon for next week, but this makes it a little easier.

I was feeling good about a trade in which I got this guy, but this thread is making me concerned. What do you guys think?

    I gave:
    Lupul
    Seguin

    To get:
    Moulson
    Spezza
    Suter

Multi-cat league and I was thin on defense.

ha. chances are that he is back with JT to start next game... while i believe that my assessment of moulson is fair and accurate, cappy puts too much faith in his old boys and is reluctant to change. with a better coach...

nice. I'm hoping Moulson's just off to a slow start and this was a good buy low.

well, maybe capuano is evolving like the rest of his team.

moulson on the third line in practice today and the islanders will be MUCH better for it if he stays there.

    dare to dream.

I'm wondering if I should try to work a Moulson for Benn trade.. Benn was drafted earlier but maybe I could package someone small and make a 2 for 2.. or always just try a straight across.. I have Seguin.. Seguin/Benn might make a nice little 1-2 punch.
