Anyone feel there is a lot of jumping the gun happening early this year?
On my FA, just cleared waivers, we have Matt Moulson and Derek Stepan.
Another guy dropped Holtby in net.
My question is, with these bigger players being dropped for short term "rookie" gain, is it worth it to pick em up now?
For trade, i'd drop Lehtonen for Holtby
I'd also drop Fleischmann for Moulson (or Chiasson, I know...rookies) and/or M. Koivu for Stepan.
These quality moves? Or should I stick it out with what I got?

Yes I'd drop Lehtonen for Holtby

Stepan is the only one i'm debating, I know I shouldn't but i'm really on the fence..

I'd go Elias for Stepan. I think Min will be a better team than NJ this season and Koivu playing with Parise and PomPom will be too good to pass up.

You don't think he'll make enough PIM/Assists to make him worthy of a spot? I could dump him, but again i'd be losing a LW/RW, where with Elias, i'd be chucking out a LW/C.. I have Crosby, Koivu, O'Reilly, Tavares all able to play C. This change anything?
