I admit, one of my biggest struggles early in the season is having patience with my players and with my team. And dammit, when I propose a trade offer to another league GM, I want a response now! (haha)

But seriously, I'm in a new keeper league and considering this trade. I do believe if you ain't tradin', you ain't tryin'!

This league is so deep and LW's and goalies are at a premium and therefore, seem to have more value.

The manager is wanting either Yakupov or Hertl, obviously I'd rather give up Hertl, his fast start notwithstanding. I know Yak has started slow, but would HATE to lose him:

Yakupov or Hertl
Dubnyk

I receive
Benn

I think we are only keeping 5 players for next year so need to pare my keepers down a little. I'm leaving myself thin in G but focused more on next year.

Hertl and Duby for Benn is a great upgrade for you, I'd do it.

I would be okay with Hertl and Dubnyk for Benn.

Especially in a limited keeper.

Well i like this move for this year, and I think it gives you better trade value when you want to pare down by packaging players for an upgrade, so like the other before me - thumbs up.

Well, Benn isn't a proven stud yet. But I would definately do Dubnyk and Hertl for Benn.

I was pretty comfortable with it as well, as much as you hate to lose a player (in this case Hertl, as well as a starting G), I'm pretty happy.

Thanks, my thoughts as well. I have been quite fortunate in my attempts to grab players like Hertl, package them with another player and flip for stronger keepers.
