Given this incredibly high value for saves you're looking for pure workhorses (70+ starts). As a comparison Holtby could have 10 more wins this year (30 pts) but if Pavelec starts 2 more games with 25 saves in each (average) Pavelec will likely outscore Holtby. Pavelec is money in such a setup as I see him easily getting 70+ whereas Holtby is not as secure in his starter's role and will start a lower number of games. The good news for Holtby is that he was shelled twice and Oates went back to him on Saturday.
I wouldn't swap out Holtby immediately but if he looks like he's on pace for only say 60 starts I wouldn't hesitate to grab him over Pavelec.
