Glee's garbage. R.I.P. to the young adult nonetheless.

I watched the first season and liked it, but then I thought they introduced way too many characters and as a singer myself I can't ****ing stand all the heavy autotuning they do, EVEN IF THE ACTORS SING WELL AS IT IS! Same with the movie Pitch Perfect. The producers need to understand that it's okay for someone to sing a bit wobbly here and there. Smothing out every single rough edge just makes it sound robotic.

lmao really? wouldn't have guessed that...so tell me, who was your faves? Lexus? Taylor? Brittany? Sage? Finn maybe even? I'm with Dave Grohl on the whole Glee thing.

I never learned any of the names, except Finn I never really cared about the characters because they didn't exactly have time to do any proper character-building in the first season. I was into it just to see how they would arrange the different songs. The premise of the show is pretty ludicrous with a glee club that is better than most professional song groups, knowing everything by heart, choreography coming out the wazoo and shit like that.

But yeah, I watched a couple of episodes of the second season and then didn't care for it anymore. I literally got upset by all the autotune.

mcgoo is just over-reacting to this thread because of the photo on this thread. Scroll halfway down the page, you'll see what I'm saying.

Was a bit confused there, but then I figured out the problem...

You have the standard ten posts per page. I have 25 per page (check your forum settings if you want it too), so when you link to a url with "page=5" in it, I get sent much further ahead in the thread compared to yourself.

So if you're referring to a specific post, link to that particular post instead. You get the link to a specific post by clicking the post number in the upper right corner, like the #48 in this one:

That way there can't be any misunderstandings

    LOL, sorry big guy.

On another note, RIP Cory Monteith. I watched Glee at times, and didn't mind the show at all. As seasons passed it got more 'cheesy' and less original, but the show is unique for sure.

I was out at my cottage all weekend and when I woke up yesterday morning I put on some coffee I turned on the news. Between this and the whole Trayvon Martin verdict, that's all the guy at CBC news was going on about.

I didnt have a clue who this guy was, but you would have sworn he was the Canadian version of Elvis the way they were going on about him.

I have never watched Glee so I guess that explains why I had no clue who he was.

They said he was in a drug clinic a few months ago or something like that. Generally when you hear this info, and the fact he died alone in a fancy hotel room, you have to assume you know the cause of death.

Watched Glee a little but more of a bummer for me as he was from my hometown. Went to school with a few people I know and got in trouble with a few other people I know. The guy was a high school drop out wall mart greeter. He had some issues as a teenager but was able to get a role on Glee with no signing or dancing experience. Impressive IMO. To bad he passed and to bad people use this forum to trash talk him.

He was a huge hockey fan BTW.

I can't help but feel this is really unfortunate. He had drug issues in his teens, went to rehab, got clean, got work on Glee...he was doing really good for a while, but he dipped back in, and it cost him his life.

Say what you will about the show, but substance abuse relapse fatalities are just crushing. It's like, no matter how hard one tries to get over their addiction, they're always a hair trigger away from slipping all the way down again. :\
