    Default Studs & Duds - Sunday 4/28

    Studs

Holy, Great game Batman! - Ottawa back-up goalie Robin Lehner had a great Sunday night in the 4-2 victory over the Boston Bruins. Lehner who was seen earlier wearing his “Robin” costume stopped all but 2 of the 36 shots fired at him and finished with a 0.944 save %. The win moved Ottawa up to 7th in the East and now they play the Montreal Canadiens.

There’s a German a Bruin - Boston defenseman Dennis Seidenberg had himself a great night on the ice last night. Seidenberg who was born in in the hockey producing area of Schwenningen, Germany picked up a 1 goal and 1 assist to go along with 1 shot, 4 hits and 2 blocks in 23:07 of ice time.

The little ball of hate – Ottawa Rookie centre Jean-Gabriel Pageau had his best game of his career Sunday night in the 4-2 win over the Boston Bruins. Pageau who stands on 5’9” on skates played in his 9th game of the year Pageau picked up 1 goal and 1assist to go with 4 shots, plus 2, 1 hit and 1 block.

    Dud

I Rasked but didn’t receive – Boston goalie Tuukka Rask had one of his few off nights last night in the 4-2 loss to the Ottawa Senators. Rask who was a stud last Sunday allowed 3 goals on just 21 shots. Hopefully you were not counting on him to win your hockey pool.

Nice write-up considering there was only one game.

    Cheers
