Sadly, every season of Big Mouth gets worse and worse.

I actually think it's one of those shows that really grows on you.
The secondary characters like Lola, Coach Steve, the old-messed-up hormone monster, the Shame Monster, even the lady-bug... they really grow on you...

Metacritic (which is the best, IMO, media mass-rating ranker available) has the critic-averages scored out to:
S1: 80
S2: 90
S3: 84

Anything over 80 on Metacritic, we've found (wife & I), is typically fantastic television.

I found season 3 was just...trying to outdue themselves. I found it funny, but personally found John Mulaney's character wasn't involved as much, and Jay (magician guy) was almost too involved. But it was pretty good, and oddly does talk about subjects that affect kids, even if it's overkilled (for humour).

I'd personally say the score for BM is:
S1:90
S2:88
S3:82

I love Morty and Ricky in Big Mouth though. Hilarious.

I seriously watched all 10 seasons in less than two months. I really enjoyed it. Obviously it's formulaic with loads of inside jokes, but I really liked the characters and found the series funny, light, and entertaining. My usual TV watching experience (especially lately) involves heavy plots (Handmaids Tale, Chernobyl, Mindhunters, Mr. Mercedes) and there's been loads of personal stress in my life lately, so being able to shutoff my brain and laugh for a bit while watching a half hour animated sitcom was perfect for me. Exactly what I needed.

AMC launching it's own streaming service now.

Going to be really interesting with all these streaming start-ups competing against Netflix. You'd think the competition is good for us - the consumer - but I'm not so sure anymore. With each new streaming service provider, more and more content is being pulled off Netflix. While the competition may mean we pay less per subscription, we may need multiple subscriptions to keep up with the new content since it's spread thin now. I already subscribe to Netflix/Amazon... don't think I can manage another one.

Season 1 of WD was pretty good. Garbage since then.
Better Call Saul is excellent, although many don't appreciate it as much as BB because the level of action isn't there.

Some rave about Preacher and Dietland. Never saw the former. Dietland was awful.
Fear the Walking dead had moments of being decent but is mostly crap.
Yeah, for a highly acclaimed network, they haven't done much actually.

I'd count Better Call Saul as different than Breaking Bad, but...not that different. My wife enjoyed Hell On Wheels and Mad Men. I watched the first few episodes of Halt and Catch Fire and liked it but not enough to keep watching (getting harder to keep my interest when I have games on my laptop and scores on my phone). I gather they made "The Killing", which I have been told is good but never seen. They filmed an episode in my old apartment building and I can advise that their cast and film crew are friendly and very accommodating compared to most that I've encountered. Building had only 2 elevators for 20+ floors, and they'd booked one. Their crew essentially stationed one lady in the elevator to hold it for when they needed it, and she would take you up to your floor when they weren't busy. So much better than the folks that were filming down the block. I was a block from home after getting off the train from the airport at midnight after 10 hours on planes, carrying a baby and a car seat and 2 suitcases, when they try to tell me I have to stop right there on the sidewalk because they're filming. I did not stop right there on the sidewalk, marking the second occasion I may have walked through a movie being filmed without permission. I wonder if I made it into the background of either movie...

Its stupid for me. I used Netflix because it had everything. I will likely just go back to downloading torrents for all things now because I cannot pay for 4-5 streaming services.
