I thought the Staircase was awesome. No BS cliffhangers or false suspense - just an in-depth look at the judicial process. We don't get to see a lot of that behind-the-scenes stuff so I thought it was fascinating.

My wife recommended that one to me but I could only get through one episode and I lost interest there too.

Agreed, very slow and I couldn't get into it.

Think I've recommended it here before but if not watch The Jinx.....it's amazing, in the same vein of making a murderer and staircase.

I haven't seen Safe but I did enjoy S1 of Marcella. I know S2 is out but I'll have to watch S1 again as I forgot a lot of details.

Agreed. Based on als_revenge's recommendation, I watched season 1 of Marcella and I really enjoyed it. I am started to get concerned that I am watching too many murder shows. Think I'll have to watch GLOW season 2 next and then a few non-crime documentaries.

When you feel like British murder again I recommend Spotless.

This thread is great, but it's just going to put us to never catch up on other shows. Just started Broadchurch. The shows I'm looking forward to most are season 3 of The Man In High Castle and season 4 of Fargo. Season 5 of Sherlock goes without saying, if only we are so lucky.

Evil Genius. One episode in - fairly good. 4 episodes in total @ ~52 mins each. Easy to burn through.

I really liked it until I realized it's like 5 seasons of breaking bad smashed into 1 season. If it wasn't for Jason Bateman, I would be bored of Ozark.

Just finished Spotless. Very good first season. However, the ending leaves too many loose ends to tie up. There does not appear to be a second season in the making. Too bad, this series has excellent promise.

A buddy of mine just recommended "I Am A Killer" on Netflix. Anyone watched this yet? Looks interesting for those who are into dark documentaries.

I am currently watching Line Of Duty, a British police TV series. Really good as I am only a few episodes in, but not sure how they can keep this going the way it's setup. Apparently there's something like 5 or 6 seasons of this show but so far, fantastic!
