I dont think it really matters. Movie might make the story line make more sense, but that's just a guess considering the movie came out first.

I tried to watch Umbrella Academy to fill the void left by the Boys but it just didn't cut it.

I had a tough time with the Umbrella Academy. I am only two or three episodes in, but it feels like it is dragging.

I also enjoyed "The Great" very much. Dark comedy, love story, dirty jokes! What else do you want?

As for Bosch, ive done the first 4 seasons and have enjoyed 1 and 3 most, so looking forward to 5.

Metacritic only gives that first season of Dark a score of 61.

Surprised by the low score in S1 but my taste in entertainment isn't exactly mainstream. I can totally understand how people would not be into it. Its a very confusing show, demands re-watching every season to understand what is happening (there are maps online but I don't recommend them until it's been watched because they can contain spoilers). I will say that if one sticks with it, it does conclude with satisfaction of most of the subplots.

Finished up The English Game on Netflix the other day. Really good short series (6 episodes) on the early days of Football (soccer). I enjoyed it.
