Maybe watch the movies first? In my opinion, the show would probably still work. It is just better because of the nostalgia and back story.

Ya, if you aren't familiar with the movies and the back story, the TV show won't come off the same. I actually enjoyed the first two Karate Kid movies but they went downhill after that.

The TV shows follows up more after the first movie but not the second movie. Johnny isn't in the second movie at all

Just binged Bling Dynasty on Netflix in 2 days.

It's trash tv, but I enjoy stuff like that when I'm working out or just lounging on the couch. Basically Crazy Rich Asians in a TV show format. Lots of eye candy. 8/10

Wife and I are into a super bizarre show from Norway called "Beforeigners" on HBO.
I'll be honest... you gotta have a few beers to have a shot at liking this show...
It's definitely not for everybody... the effin premise is weird... but one would know after 1-2 episodes whether they'd like it or not.
For some reason, it's working for us thru about 4 episodes so far.
A good bit of skin too... doesn't hurt. Even some nice peenisses for the ladies!

Watching Wandavision, it's interesting. It's not really for someone who doesn't know the Marvel universe and what's happening. I've found myself answering a lot of questions my gf has about it after we watch an episode.

I've watched 2 of 4, so I hear I've got past the setup episodes and now am getting into some good stuff.

I doubt I will watch it, but the casting done on Young Rock is incredible. Particularly those playing his dad, mom and child version of himself.

Continuing into wife & I's two-month HBO splurge,
finishing "The Third Day" with Jude Law.



It's pretty solid, just six hour-length episodes.
Dude ends up on an island... with cultish Christians... can't get off the island.
Probably a story we've sort of all seen before - I last saw it done as "Wayward Pines".

3/5 stars... it was entertaining.

The whole "cult" theme followed well after we watched the documentary called "The Vow" based on a cult from 3-5 years ago called Nxium.
I don't remember it being a thing - but apparently they had several locations, and one of the main women was from Vancouver.
I give that one a 3/5 as well.

I've been enjoying the modest offerings of Superstore now that it has been added to Netflix. Nothing special here, but a decent single-cam comedy.

Started watching this recently. Freaking hilarious in my opinion. I did not have high hopes but I have found it to be very good. All of the characters are decently well rounded.
Also, I think its fairly old now but have been making my way thru "the Blacklist" James Spader is excellent in it as the sauve super-villain with a heart of gold.
