"PADDING my stats": Howard with the shut out last night. His second in the past 4 games. 7 of his last 8 games Jimmy has posted a sub 2 GAA.

"The Puck Stops Here": Add another shutout to Viktor Fasth's marvelous season. 21 games in: 15 wins, 4 losses, 2 ties and 3 shutouts. Insane!


"Damien Zetterberg and Henrik Brunner": This tandem played as one last night. Henrik had 3A, all on the PP. Damien had 1G and 1A on the PP - Zetterberg with helpers on both.

Earlier in the week Brunner predicted that he would find his scoring touch soon. Let's see if he can end on a strong note.




Killing Them SOFTLY:

Brenden Morrow: The gritty Morrow had 2A last night. That's his 3rd multi-point performance in the last 4 games. In that span, he has put up 8pts: 4G and 4A. Put BR down for 11pts in 12gp with the Pens. Looks like Shero helped himself and poolies with Morrow's acquisition.

Cory Schneider: May be entering a hot streak after Dallas hung 5 on him back on 4-/18. Since then he has bounced back beautifully stopping 33 of 34 shots .971 vs Det on Sat - 4/20. Last night he stops 24 of 25 to finish the night with .960. Typically Cory gets hit for a bit and he appears to be doing it at the right time for poolies. Ride him harder than a cheap whore!!!





Duds

"A Dog returns to its own vomit": The same ugly. Another shutout. The Yotes are making just about every goalie they go up against look like a Vezina contender. They were shutout 4 times in Mar and now 4 times in Apr. Ridiculous.


"Tank you": So Edmonton loses again. Back to back with Ana, where they have been out scored 6 to 1. They have 3 wins and 8 losses over the last 11 games. Don't forget about a blistering 6 game losing streak. If they get the 1st pick again, I'll jump out of a damn window!

"Off The Reservation": 3 - 1, Vancouver over Chicago. The twins had 2pts a piece last night as the Canucks beat on the Blackhawks. Kane, Toews and Hossa go without a point. Damn if that ain't a sobering loss for Chicago. They really need to have a major bounceback.

Hard to believe the Oilers have fallen this fast and hard. As hard as it is to be a Flames fan right now its got to be worse if your an Oilers fan. How bad is it for the Oilers?? The Flames have more points.

Yeah, the Oilers are bad and ass instead of bad-ass. Disappointing season from them...smh.
