Exactly. I've been invested since they joined the league in '77. My uncle lives in St Catherines and went to a bunch of games their inaugural season. He sent me a Jays ball cap from that season (which I still own). I was 8 years old that year and I have been a fan ever since.

At least you were old enough to experience the 91/92, 92/93 World Series wins. I'm jealous.
I was only 2 and 3 years old then so I don't remember anything from that time even though my dad and brother were pretty big fans.
I can't even count how many times I've tried to re-live it though by watching those World Series VHS tapes (and got the DVD version last year cuz my VHS player broke).

I tried. They were too disappointing to follow. My biggest investment for several years was only watching Halladay starts. The last time I followed them heavily was when they dealt for Esteban Loaiza.
This organization has always been awesome with the way they pump up the fan base, with the song choices and the montages and even the player intros at the Skydome on game days.
Also I love Brunt's essay features. Always end up giving me chills by the end of it.
LOL! I was half drunk in my buddies basement watching the games the first year they won. Then continued to get plastered the rest of the night celebrating. The year after that, I was at home watching the championship game.

I haven't been paying much attention during spring training, but I wonder how Arencibia is gonna handle Dickey's knuckler tonight.
Arencibia is a poor catcher for regular pitches.
Dickey is a big Star Wars freak, hence the music when he took the mound.
JP is wearing an oversized catcher's mit, designed for the knuckleball. One ball already got passed him, but I think he looks calm and cool so far.
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.
