    Default What about Subban?

So, Subban is taking the league by storm on the back end.

    I am in a 10-player keeper. pretty standard Yahoo cats. no hits. 3C 3L 3R 3F 5D
I have the opportunity to grab Parise for Subban and Voracek. Would this be worth it for me to upgrade my LW? Subban being ranked what, 5th overall per game stats.

My keepers are stacked and am poised for the win regardless of moving depth.

Crosby, JT, Giroux, Getzlaf, Benn, Moulson, Eberle
    Ward, Hiller, Backstrom.

I am trying to acquire to best LW that I can. Who else would you suggest than Parise for the short and long run...OV? Hall? Kane?

    much appreciated input.

I'm not going to regret moving voracek, as I am generally moving to acquire the top players at each position. Am just curious to what everyone thinks is Subban's potential here. Is he going to be up there with Karlsson in fantasy?

No, I don't do that deal. Subban is a top 5 defender who gives you a ton of points and above-average numbers in every other category, and I've always believed that a defenceman who can do that is extremely valuable. If your league includes hits and blocks, then Subban is arguably MORE valuable than Karlsson, who doesn't do much of either of those things. And he could be even better than this. It's actually a little bit scary.

If your league does include hits, I'd go after Ovi. IMO, he's more valuable than Parise for hits, PIMs, and SOGs, with points being more or less the same and a worse +/-.
    18 team league, keep 12 plus *4 1st/2nd year players (16 total)
Points Only (w/ NHL salaries), start 8F/4D/1G
Note: Defencemen receive 1 point per 45 mins of ice time (1-2 points per week, ~30-35 pts per season).

    Z. Bogosian, J. Brodin, O. Maatta, C. Franson, A. Pietrangelo, R. Murphy, *S. Theodore, *S. Gostisbehere, C. Carrick

If not up to Karlsson's level then he is a pretty good bet as a close second. I wouldn't make that trade.
    10 Team Yahoo Roto
Keep 3F, 1D, 1G (to max 2 years unless franchise keeper)
    3C,3LW,3RW,4D,2G,2BN,2IR Roto-play 85games/position
Player: G, A, +/-, PIM, PPA, PPG, HIT, BS SOG, FW
Goalie: W, GAA, SV, SV%, SHO

    C: (F1) Tavares, Stastny, Carter
    LW: 1-Hall, Pacioretty, B.Schenn
    RW: Mackinnon, Nyquist, Hornqvist
    D: 1-Carlson, Josi, Faulk, Franson
    G: Andersen, Mason
    BN: Jones, Niemi

#- denotes number of years I have kept a player. 2 = I need to trade him this year, (F1) = Franchise Keeper, up to 4 years.
