    Default Which Prospect?

I have the 2nd pick in our upcoming draft and will be selecting one of these 3 players from the 2012 MLB draft:

    Byron Buxton
    Carlos Correa
    Mike Zunino

How would you rank these 3, based on who will help the soonest and highest ceiling?

R, H, HR, RBI, SB, K, TB, F%, AVG, OBP, OPS

    Thanks!

Zunino will be up this year. The other 2 are a few years away.
But few have the ceiling of Buxton and Correa.

Buxton has to be your pick (assuming he doesnt go first).

Short of that, your list is ranked correct in my opinion.
10 Team, Points Only, Cash League

25 Man Roster (no position), top 20 point getters count at end of month
Keep 20/25 at seasons end, Cut 5 to FA for redrafting
    Goalie points W=2pt L=-1pt SHO=2pt

Stamkos, Tavares, Eichel, Mercer, JRobertson, RThomas, Kucherov, Nugent-Hopkins, Tuch, KConnor, Necas, Point, Konecny, SJarvis, Cozenz, Morrissey, Bouchard, Josi, Novak, Tolvanen, Peterka, Brink

    G- Vasilevskiy, Sorokin, Oettinger

I personally go Buxton / Zunino / Correa. I favour going after prospects that are closer to the big show, but can't put him past Buxton's high upside.

    Great, thanks all.

I was thinking Buxton 1st but it is nice to get that confirmation.

I'll probably put Correa 2nd since I have Jeter & Ramirez as my SS now and Monterro & Lucroy at C so I have less of a need there obviously.

Guess I should have mentioned that whoever I pick will go to my prospect list but I don't think it would have changed anything it sounds like.

I would rank them as follows:

Buxton - 5 tool potential, but will take years to develop

Correa - Has a wicked work ethic, has a reals shot to stay at SS

Zunino - Not as much upside as the other two, but will reach the majors first

    C- A.Matthews, J.Eichel, N.Hischier, C.Dvorak
    LW- N.Ehlers, A.Galchenyuk, J.Schwartz, J.Vesey, R.Fabbri
