    i won't take a stance on that but from what I saw of the play he got caught pretty good with a skate blade (still waiting for a good slo-mo closeup), he could be badly cut, the back of the leg is not nearly as well protected and he put no weight on it coming off

    He isn't a big guy at all, but I'm not sure size has a single thing to do with an injury like that. Hopefully he doesn't miss much time.
