Default Toews for Selanne & Kessel, too much?

I was offered Toews for my Kessel & Selanne. My league is a one year league and has no restrictions on positions. So i can load up on centers.

So am I crazy to think its okay to take Toews because he has scoring capabilities along with a huge advantage with FOW points. While giving up two scorers.

To help with the trade Phaneuf was dropped and I can pick him up to help make up any points I would lose.

Please help, am I crazy or should I accept the offer?

Seems great for you. You are getting the best player in the deal, and you are getting a center which means you are getting FOWs, and since there are no positional requirements centers have a huge advantage. The fact that you are in an 8 team league means that there will be some very good free agents available, good enough so that you will be able to lessen the blow of losing Selanne, to gain Toews for Kessel. FOWs is a stat in your league to be taken advantage of.

Okay I've been getting replies of people either being on the fence or saying do it. No one has actually told me not to yet. So I think I am rolling with it.

Since I can just add some one from the WW I am sure I will end up winning this trade.

Essej - thanks for your comments I appreciate it.

In a one year league, I would not trade Selanne and Kessel for Toews. If the rationale is to boost FOW, there must be less onerous trades you could make.
