    Default Pick up Boychuk?

I'm currently rolling with 3 goalies. Niemi, Lindback, Smith. Would you drop Smith and take a chance on Boychuk? I think I can rely on Lindback as my backup. This is a h2h 10 team league.

I wouldn't make this move. Maybe if you have some baggage at your forward position I would consider taking a flyer on Boychuk.....but he hasn't even played in Pittsburgh yet.

What are you trying to accomplish? Why not make a trade vs a drop?

People are getting way too excited about Boychuk going to the Pens. He has never done anything relevant fantasy-wise, and just because he's going to get a chance to play with Malkin and Neal doesn't mean he is going to start doing anything relevant. He might, sure, but he has done absolutely nothing to justify dropping a player who can contribute to your team. And seriously, DROPPING Smith? Why? Make a trade! I bet you can get a better player than Boychuk.

Don't even make a trade to create room for Boychuk. He won't be roster worthy this year in 10 team league.

The idea of dropping Mike Smith for Boychuk is ludicrous.
