Enstrom vs Edler, who would you target
Looking at acquiring one of these two. Which do you prefer in a multi cat league that includes Hits, SoG, PIMs, PPG but not PPA or PPP, G, A, GWG, OTG, SHG, SHA.
I'm leaning towards Edler as he's more physical and thus fills out more stats, alos a few years younger but I sense that Enstrom has the higher offensive upside and he doesn't have a wonky back.
Part 2 of my inquiry, would Vasilevski + Grigs + Brodeur be enough? I think its a good package.

I would prefer Edler. As for the package it depends on whether the other guy needs goaltending etc.
I like Edler as well, especially in that format.
I think Edler in most formats, including this one. Just as talented, same opportunity, much better team. Personally don't comment on "is this enough" questions as every league is different. No idea how the other GM thinks or values players. I will comment saying you won't be giving to up to much if thats the package you use.
He has Roloson, Quick, and Reimer. Not a very good situation. You need 2 starts plus a decent backup to win this league. He has Richard Bachman in the farm but he'll never be a starter imo. We drop and redraft in a week or so but there are never any bonafide starters in the draft. You may luck out and pick a Mike Smith after his last season in Tampa as an example. Answer to the first question: Edler for me, by a pretty wide margin. He'll quite simply get more of everything you just listed than Enstrom, and with regards to point upsides I don't see either being far off from each other.
Answer to the second question: Seems to me like you're throwing quantity for quality. Pretty sure the other GM will see it the same way. Given his goaltending situation I don't think Brodeur would be the type of goalie I'd be looking to acquire...I'd be looking at a more long-term solution to my #2 situation to play behind Quick if I'm giving up a player like Enstrom or Edler...especially Edler. So in summary I can't see that kind of deal happening.
Enstrom is a tougher sell outside of points-only. Edler wins here.

That's fair, and something I forgot to neglect in my post.
With the question 'who would you target', I'd definitely rather have Edler, but Enstrom would definitely be more attainable. So in many cases, the smarter move would be to target Enstrom, who could be had easier.
