Have read each post, thank you all. End of Watch, How to train your dragon and Goon are all on my short list. I have seen quite a few of those mentioned.

Keep coming back to this thread sharing your thoughts on your most recently viewed movies. More recently released the better...
Hockey Pools? Too many to mention. Points only, salary cap and dynasty.

    Valhalla Rising, eh.
OK - I'm going to trust you guys on this one.

Netflix has it currently rated as 2-3/4 stars.
    Anything sub-3 is usually trash.
It's available on Netflix Instant so I queued it up just now.

You guys will either be getting some nice REP or nice wrath in a few days!
    LOL.

Personally I thought the movie sucked....though it didn't suck half as much as that a$$hole judge who threw out my lawsuit against Guy Ritchie for false advertising.

(It should be noted that I technically have no idea if the movie truly sucks because I've never actually watched it. But I never let facts stand between me and a joke)

That's the direction I thought that was going...

There was another direction that comment could have gone?

Nope, but if you check back in the thread I made a note that that could have gone the exact direction you took it. Kind of surprised it took so long is all.

had been wanting to see beasts-of-the-southern-wild for some time now, and finally was able take it in last night. not an easy film, and certainly not for everyone, but it was very, very good.

also watched (most of) marley earlier this week... great music. great story.

Somebody should probably go check on Loch's welfare. Something must be horribly wrong otherwise he would have gotten to that comment before I did.

I really should post some ratings as goodwill gesture for bringing this thread to the brink of disaster. I know CoD is looking for newer movies, but I tend to watch older stuff almost exclusively. I think the most recent movie I've watched or own is Zombieland. Pretty pathetic when I stop and think about it.....

Just finished Lawless, pretty good, little predictable in parts but there were titties so it gets my vote

My wife wanted to watch a movie and Valhalla Rising wasn't going to be it so we opted for Looper instead. Really enjoyed it!!

No one will touch that one? Really? I'm disappointed in you people.

I, for one, feel you my friend. I too would like to share my love of Snatch with my girlfriend. But, alas, it's not going to happen.

Hey, if you people think I do nothing at work except sit around waiting to post jokes in poor taste then... um... anyway, I'm fine.

Raided mom's DVD's last night and found the Bourne trilogy, not even opened. Any thoughts on these three movies. Seem well rated.

Also found the Aviator with Leonardo DiC.

Watched the last hour of the LOTR, two towers, battle at Helms Deep. Always impressed with that scene. How many arrows did 'blondie' have anyways? and where did he find the time to top up his supply?? ....shakes head....
