Watched The Long Shot the other night. Charlize Theron and Seth Rogan. It was a stinker in my opinion. 5/10.

Just watched MidSommar (Amazon Prime)... it is a very strange, twisted horror movie. Be forewarned... it is ****ED UP! 7/10

Finally got to Star Wars Rise of Skywalker. Better than I thought it would be. My expectations were low. Glad it worked out for the good side; I don't think that was ever in real doubt lol. 7/10

Really enjoyed The Hunt. Funky little flick. If you like Kill Bill or Tarantino flicks, you'll like this one. Gilpin is a smoke show too. 8.5/10

Finally got around to watching Fast and the Furious: Hobbs and Shaw. Meh, it was alright but if you are looking for realism, this isn't the movie for you. It was a good waste of a couple hours I guess.

I just watched Parasite. It snuck up on me and totally kicked my ass. Heartwarming and depressive and brilliant. Definitely not for everyone. This might be one of those movies I have to sit and digest for a few days before watching it again. So good on so many levels.

Duuuuude! Cant wait for this cheesy movie to come out this summer. I have a feeling there's a few around these parts that probably didn't see the original B&T movies back in the day when they came out. LOL!

"Rooster" blockers is a funny movie. John Cena is a decent actor.

Hello all, watched a good family movie last night. It was called Storm Boy. Its an Aussie film. Great story. Its hard to get movies that are family friendly, but still entertaining. This did it. It wont change your life, but I give it a 6.5/10. Worth a watch for sure. I asked my 13 year old and he said 7/10.

The week before we watched one called Leave No Trace. I really enjoyed this film. Its also family friendly, but it was a simply story told well. I give that one a 8/10. The 13 year old didnt like it as he thought it didnt go anywhere. I believe him to be mistaken. I loved it.

Watched Greyhound last night. Excellent movie IMO, even though, being in the RCN, I might be a little biased.

Scary to think what some of those crew members went through during the Battle of the Atlantic, the longest military engagement of WWII.

    None the less, excellent movie.

I watched it too Axe. Thought you'd like it. I liked it too. Sadly, it's only 90 minutes running. Solid 8.5/10 for me. The whale sounds indicating the presence of Uboats was quite annoying though. I'm not sure who thought that idea would work. 72 000 lost to sea. May they rest in peace.

Palm Springs was excellent. 90 minutes running. Groundhog day 2.0. I'll watch it again. Solid 9/10. Solid cast.

The wrong missy was very funny too. Not for kids. 8/10. Lauren Lapkus is Jim Carrey in female form.

I downloaded the torrent for Palm Springs but havent had a chance to watch it yet.

I agree The Wrong Missy on Netflix was worth the watch as well. I wasnt sure I'd like it because I am not normally a fan of that "uncomfortable/embarrassing" comedy but the wife is a big comedy fan so I sat and watched it with her.
