Just binged the John Wick Trilogy in 2 night... ****ing love this series. Makes up for the utter disappointment that was Matrix Resurrections.

Don’t Look Up - 7/10 - I enjoyed it, not sure why it’s gathering so much hate online. It’s a slightly hamfisted allegory for the climate crisis but it has its fun moments. A lot of parallels to the response to the pandemic as well. Maybe it’s hitting too close to home for some.

Loved this! Going to watch it again since I suspect there are a lot of jokes I missed. It's getting a lot of hate because it disproportionately mocks the right, the anti-science folks, the patriotic types and the 'Merica that they love overall.

I watched it (Don't Look Up) tonight and I won't lie, I found it dumb. A few chuckles in there but for the most part, I found it boring. I guess my sense of humor is different than others.

I arrely dont finish a movie. Ressurections I did not finish. tried to be way too cleer for its own good. Take your cash grab money and shut up about it. Being self aware doesnt make it any less of a swindle...

FWIW, IMO the best part of Don't Look Up was the credits and the extra part they put in there.

Spider-man No Way Home...The best spider-man movie out of them all. And def one of the top Marvel movies ever. Loved it off the first watch.

Took the kids to see it the other day, we all liked it. Great movie

I liked Don't Look Up to the point that it was a free movie on Netflix.

It was making fun of the global warming situation to me more than COVID, but you can make both work. But if you are into the awkward comedy then it's a good movie, if you find it just eye-rolly then you won't like the movie.

The reviews on the movie are pretty good. But the box office for the movie made it one of the biggest flops in recent memory lol. $30mill box office, with a budget of around $100mill lol.

What a great comment lol. Ridley Scott also made another box-office bomb in House of Gucci this yr too lol ($75m budget, $126m box office). Rule of thumb is to make money the Box office needs to be double of the Budget to cover marketing and such.

Finally watched Eternals. Why is it 2.5 hours? That's almost as long as frigging Endgame, which was a culmination of 22 movies featuring some of the best superheroes.

This movie did not do it for me at all.

Agree, Eternals could have been at least a half an hour shorter.

Ya Eternals was meh to me. The best part was the cinematography which gets lost at home. Some of the shots in IMAX were unreal, but outside of visually, it was so dull.
