Likely going to be the Pats at home for me. I know theyve been shaky this year but I just can't see them losing the Jets,.

Pats are definitely the 'safest' pick in terms of vegas odds. but i imagine roughly 35-50% of people will be on them. them, nyg and sf are the only 7+ pt favourites. most people have already taken nyg, and a fair amount have taken sf, so it will be heavily weighted towards new england.

    i'll prob go with nyg

Yeah Ive taken SF and NYG already so NE it is. I assume my opponent will pick the Pats as well so it should be another stalemate.

was really hoping for a SF loss last night. I don't know what the other 5 managers picked, but I'd assume 1 or 2 were on SF.

I think I've decided to go with NE. Might elaborate later but need to go. Just don't think much of my league will be on them and they are clearly the safest pick.

I dont get how your league doesn't show you who picked who yet?

    Why?

Where do you play your league?

Yahoo settings are either Sunday at 1pm EST or 5 min before the first game of the week. eg. the thursday game.

My league is set to Sunday, so picks aren't revealed until after the deadline. This is very standard practice. If you can make your pick and already know what everyone else has already picked, then it becomes more of a math game than a survivor game.

Shouldn't you be able to see everyone's picks after the first game of the week is played? aka Thursday.

Mine is on CBS...but I believe it's the same way on Yahoo.

Can you see what your opponents picked before they are revealed on thursday?

If not, that's cool and it's just different settings. I think my league picked Sunday, because historically people have forgotten to make picks before a Thursday game thus they lose. It's different this year though since there's a game every thursday, but in previous years there were only thursday games once in a while, and if people didn't make their pick on time, they'd be screwed.

Ya that's fair enough. But does that mean people can't pick the Thursday game if they want to?

Ya they can pick it, so long as it's before kickoff, or 5 mins before kickoff or something. Not sure when it locks that out.

But even if they pick thursday's game, you won't know they picked thursday's game until sunday at 1. but yahoo locks their pick in if they do.

it was a nice surprise last week when the picks were revealed on sunday and I saw 3 of the 10 ppl in my league picked Pittsburgh thus were out. I guess all they could hope for is that the remaining 7 of us all lost on sunday so we'd chop the prize pool.
