I went Pats, it was even more intense.

3 of the 6 ppl in my pool went Pats, so when that was revealed I wasn't happy I was on them.
1 already advanced with San Fran, 1 on MIN, and 1 on GB.

    ------------

The only potential picks I see for Week 8 are:

Pats vs Rams (in London) - I already used Pats
GB vs Jags - already used GB
SF @ Arizona - already used SF
Broncos vs Saints - I don't feel like picking the mediocre Broncs vs the Saints

    Leaving a choice between:

Chicago vs Carolina - Carolina sucks. But Newton could turn it around. Cutler and the bears are also wildcards, but this seems like a reasonable option. 3 of the other managers have already used Chi, meaning only 2 could possibly pick them.

Vikings vs Tampa - This is my initial lean. 3 of the other managers have already used Minny. I also like that it's the Thursday game and not sure how TB will be on short rest on the road.

I've already used the Pack but even if I didn't I wouldn't pick them.

Expect 50% of pool to be on them, and wouldn't mind saving them for later. I don't expect Jax to come anywhere near close to beating them, but in a deeper pool, I'd steer clear and hope.

Been debating between Min and Chi all week. Chi is favored to win considerably more so I'm going with them.

ahhh. we are pretty much opposite.

i've used packers, niners and pats.

only option really for me was between min and chi. perhaps den as well but i didn't like that.

    LET'S GO PACKERS!!!

I feel like I've been having a week long staring contest with the guy that Im down to the end with. We both know that we have Green Bay....and we both know they're the best pick......only time will tell I guess.

does it really matter if the packers win or lose?

i assume if they lose, you chop the pot.

whereas if they win, it continues...

who has better teams remaining for the rest of the year?

Well when I posted that I wasn't sure if my opponent had picked them so yes it did matter.

    But alas...he has....onto week 9.

Hope some people in my pool picked MIN. Glad I didn't. phew. Can't see myself changing off Chicago. I don't really have any other good options available.

You must have been having a minor heart attack during that Bears game. I know I would have.

Looking at week 9........frig the options are getting limited for me. Im thinking either SD over KC, Wash over Car orrrrrrrrrr Detroit on the road vs Jax. I just hate picking road teams for this or else Detroit would be my pick for sure.

I was at the lions/seahawks game and more interested in following the road score than watching the live game. Can't believe chi won it.

There's so many possible picks this week, but no really good ones (at least of teams I have left) have already used hou, gb, and sd.

Looking at sea vs min, atl vs dal, and a little sprinkle of bal @ cle, mainly because I'm the only one with bal left. Alternatively if i get thru this week could use bal at home vs oak next week.

    Leaning towards seattle right now.

I do like them....but hate picking road teams in survivor pools. Probably better options out there.

Bucs are a vegas underdog. Seattle, San Diego, Houston, Green Bay, Atlanta all have better vegas odds than ravens. Detroit, new orleans, denver, Chicago all have the same. Nyg, Washington just below. Bucs terrible pick imo.
