    Default hernandez for d.brown & r.jennings

I have to do this... right?? I feel like it's a no brainer, but I liked grabbing brown in the 10th incase of injuries & wouldn't have grabbed 2 tight ends if I coulda got hernandez. No clue why the guy who's trying to trade him drafted him as he already had a TE he drafted before him.

    ESPN 12-team standard

    my team:

    QB: Rivers
    RB: Ray Rice
    RB: Ryan Mathews
    WR: Julio Jones
    WR: Jordy Nelson
    FLEX: Doug Martin
    TE: Jared Cook

BN: RG3, Torrey Smith, Donald Brown, Jared Cook, Mikel LeShoure, Rashad Jennings, Brandon Lafell

FA's that maybe kinda interest me: Alfred Morris, Ronnie Hillman, Turbin, Amendola, Austin Collie

Cripples me a bit in week 1, because I like jennings as a start & like having depth at RB, but my starting lineup should be sick as long as everyone stays healthy...

you have Cook both in your startup and on the bench. I think you can get pretty much the same fps out of Cook+another decent TE working the matchups as from Hernandez. You might gain 3-4 fps per round by getting Hernandez.

Say Hernandez averages 11 points for a total of 176 fps and Cook/random can get 80-90 each. That is 5.5 points per week. Finding the best matchups should give you about 2 points more per week and leave you with 7.5 from your TE spot. That means that you increase your weekly score with an average of 3.5 points.

Is that worth giving up depth at RB? I wouldnt do this.

Give me Hernandez. Never underestimate having two TE. MJD is about to render Jennings useless as the guy is a workhorse and perhaps the most productive all-purpose back in the league. This is virtually Hernandez for Donald Brown. I like Brown, but wouldn't do this unless you were absolutely hurting at RB.

This. Plus a bold prediction.....Hernandez outperforms Welker in fantasy this year.

    Default I would never

I would never trade a guy I like a lot for depth

Alright, I won't say never, but now that MJD is back I think two marginal RB for one top 5 TE... I take the top TE

i think TE POS. very overrated.

i would never give up brown and jennings for a TE.

BUT MAYBE THE DEAL MAKES SENSE FOR YOU WITH ALLREADY TWO BIG RB'S IN YOUR LINEUP

I made the trade. My starters are solid now, and probably will pick up a guy like alfred morris or turbin off the ww.

I still have torrey smith to plug in as my flext this week. Not sure what I'm gonna do with all the TE's though... dunno if cook & olsen are droppable, there are a couple teams I'm facing in the next couple matchups that are weak at TE so might just hold onto them until after those are done with.

(Also olsen was the other TE.)
