Default Stafford, Martin for McFadden, E Manning

Standard NFL.com format, 12 man league.

    My Team:
McFadden, Ridley, Hillis, D Williams, T Jones (would probably throw in or drop)
B Marshall, D Bryant, G Little, Malcolm Floyd, B Lafell
    Eli Manning, Cutler
    Gronkowski

Should I trade McFadden and E Manning for Stafford and Doug Martin? I'm trying to add to this and get Garcon for any of my last 3 WR.

Thanks in advanced for any advice.

If you can add Garcon for LaFell I would do this. If not I'm staying with what you've got.

I would stick with what you got, I think there's less risk with the Manning/McFadden combo than the Stafford/Martin combo

I have never heard DMC referred to as no risk...

Haha to be fair I said less risk. Rookie RB + a QB who has had an injury filled past = slightly more risk than DMC and Eli IMO

No. I would not do this. Besides McFadden, your RBs are weak. Stafford is a moderate upgrade over Manning. McFadden is a monster upgrade over Martin.

    Thanks for the replies.

So if I can add in LaFell or Little for Garcon, then is it worthwhile? I'm considering just dropping Little anyways for Jacquizz Rodgers, Rod Steater, Jermaine Gresham or Kendall Hunter.

Or what if I can add in Gronk for Graham (I'd be getting Graham).

So I talked to the guy today and we're waiting 1 week since games start tomorrow.

The trade right now would be:

    I get: Stafford, D Martin, P Garcon
He gets: Eli Manning, Mcfadden, Lafell

Martin will finish the year with more FF points than DMC. Book it.

No way!!!! don't dot he original offer or the 2nd offer. DMC is on eof, if not the most talent back in the league. Every year before he goes down he is fantasy's #1 rb. Keep DMC and enjoy eli's stellar season.

Sorry, but what does eof mean? I'm kind of worried that when McFadden goes down as he almost inevitably will, that I'll be screwed with the current backs that I have. How many games are you assuming DMC plays when looking at this trade?

eof means nothing. But if I actually took the time to type and check my post, it would have read "one of".

You can never predict injuries in the nfl. I believe that "injury prone" and "band aid boy" need not apply in professional sports. Especially in football. DMC has just been really unlucky and could play a full slate at any time now. It''s impossible to predict how many games any one player plays in any given year. Therefore, I feel it is best to not factor in any potential injuries (not yet taken place) when evaluating a player.
