    Default Better option

I am in a 1 year, PPR league. I was offered Trent Richardson for Erik Decker. My roster breaks down as such (** league gives points for return yards):

    QB: Andy Dalton
    RB1: Matt Forte
    RB2: Darren Sporles
    WR1: Percy Harvin
    WR2: Antonio Brown
    TE: Brandon Pettigrew
    FL: Erik Decker
    K: Shayne Graham
    DEF: New England

    Bench:
    Brandon Weedon
    Evan Royster
    Jared Cook
    Davone Bess

Richards could provide me consistency, as running backs always get touches and wide receivers are more prone to ups and downs, but Decker is connecting with Peyton Manning. Thoughts?

Decker is a fine player, but I take Richardson over him in 99 out of 100 drafts.

Make that trade IMO, but you should scrape your FA pool for another QB option - Dalton is very questionable as a #1 in fantasy this year and Weeden doesn't look ready to me at all. Who's on your waiver wire?

I also don't care much for Davone Bess I'd probably find a better WR than him too? A good backup for you is pretty important, especially if you send out Decker.

With Sproles and Royster looking at carousels this is a no brainer IMO.

Dyv's advice on the QB and and WR postions are spot on, as usual.

Decker should have a nice year. But Richardson will likely be Cle's best and most used player on offense, so you should go with Richardson.

Take Richardson! If the last two seasons are any indicator, you should be able to find a top ten wr on the waiver wire.

Dalton as a number one is ballsy. Was that a result of waiting on a qb or do you have a hunch?

Great point! Top RBs are A LOT harder to find in the draft. Not only that...they rarely just come out of no where during the season like some WR targets do.

I just grabbed Russell Wilson. In my league they nerfed the QB by making it -3 its for an INT, -0.5 its for a sack, and 30 yards passing for a point. Also the league rewards a point for every 30 yards gained in the return game, which makes Bess and Decker useful. Oh, and I forgot to mention there are 16 teams so waiver wire is really thin.

Yes, I waited on a QB because of the change in point system, and waited a little to long.

    1. DO THE TRADE! And hurry up before the other guy discovers google.com.

    2. I like LaFell as a sleeper on WR.

    3. Wilson could be a great pick up with your scoring settings as he can run the ball. Cam Newton light.
