Looks like they had DeAngelo on PP1 in the first game of the season, along with Aho, Svech, Trochek and Teravainen. That group went 2 for 5 on opening night.

Pretty ideal deployment for DeAngelo's fantasy value (as long as he minds his Ps and Qs off the ice).

So far we’ve heard nothing. Which is exactly how you want it. Brind’Amour is just the coach to help a player like this find his groove and learn how to shut up and play hockey.

I don't understand why the kept Jarvis up with the big club, only to see him watch the first game from the press box. If you're going to keep the kids up, get them playing. Don't make them sit and waste time. I hate it when teams do that.

He'll play, according to Brind'Amour. Maybe they are giving him a game or two to watch first. He's still more likely to be sent down eventually, given Carolina's current roster.
I can't promise I'll try but I'll try to try.

He went OFF on the refs. The game was really late into the 3rd and tied 2-2, 30sec into a 5v4 for Washington. Aho slashed and broke a player's stick and got called so it was going to be 90sec 5v3. Brind'Amour disagreed, you could say.

Ref criticism is blown out of proportion.

I’d almost like a league where, if you criticized and the replay said you’re wrong, it’s a 500k fine. If you’re right, league lets the comment stand with no fine. Lol

regression monster is a real bitch lol

all the sports league are getting too sensitive these days.

the (updated) taunting rule in the NFL is an absolute joke.
the players made a mockery of jumping into opponents to draw free throws in the NBA for a number of years and the refs were criticized repeatedly saying they were the best refs in the world. then they FINALLY did something about it this season.
dont recall anything too bad with the MLB but theyre in a lockout right now so they have their own problems lol
