how awesome is that. 2 posts in 1 year for this team. Nobody likes the team apparently![]()
-Organization shows great commitment to Dubinsky today and in addition to the contract, I suspect he will be named the next captain as wel, with his play, leadership style, one has to assume he's gonna wear the C.
-Ry-Jo needs to get his deal done with the team as well, they need to get this put to bed as soon as possible.
-Scott Hartnell's grit and experience will prove to be a very valuable addition to this team as well.
-They are strong in next with a very sturdy, solid Bobvrosky.
-The Jackets are looking stronger and stronger on the ice and they fave salary cap flexibility as well.
-John Davidson is getting this franchise on the right train tracks!
Perfect example of a team building an identity and moving up the ranks
Columbus was a perenial bottom feeder in the East until they got bold enough to make big moves and start swinging for the fences. Getting rid of Nash, your franchise player and face of the team must have been tough but it was ultimately the right move and it's paying off. The addition of Hartnell and the emergence of their prospects makes this team a force in the conference, especially when you compare them to teams like Buffalo, Ottawa, Florida, Carolina and Toronto who are all foundering and doing nothing to help their cause. The complexion of the east is changing and the jackets are looking very promising
Do any of you think they'll miss Blake Comeau?
Sonny Milano signs with Columbus
Great name, even better hands, check out his youtube vids if you don't believe me!

The Blue Jackets good start isn't the only thing being noticed in Columbus.

Woah! That's what I call a "big" fan.
Now that the Jackets have added Saad and starting to look like a playoff team for 2015-2016 season. What kind of line combos will we see?
Year 18 keeper pool. 10 GM roto pool. Keep 2 Centers, 3 Wings,3 Defence,1 Goalie,1 extra. and Prospects up to 5 years after drafted if not activated.

God, I don't have the first clue. I actually think Jenner goes with Johansen and Saad. He can be the sandpaper there.
Hartnell, to me, slots in a top-six role, maybe with Atkinson and Dubinsky.
I know Foligno had a monster year, but I can see him as a third-line guy...maybe with Clarkson and Bourque
But then again, maybe Foligno goes with Atkinson and Dubinsky, with Hartnell on the third line
Maybe they do the old "get two-man combos and find a third guy to go with them plan"
Johansen-Saad
Hartnell-Jenner
Dubinsky-Foligno
Just so many options and so much differing kinds of talent up front for them. Nice issue to have
I think they move Hartnell to the 3rd line, or try either Foligno or Hartnell on the 2nd line on the RW. This is like one of the only teams in the league that have TOO many top LW lol, and Duby has played LW at one point.

Hartnell has been playing with Atkinson and Weinnberg on the third line and hasn't seen time in the first PP unit either.
