Ok this is for MLB but Im pretty sure the same would apply for hockey.

We have "Daily - Today" moves where you can make moves on the day of the games. My confusion comes in once the games actually start because Im pretty sure you are unable to drop players once their games have started....I get the error:

A player has already played and is no longer editable for today. (Error #174)

....but Im also pretty sure that there have been instances where I have been able to do this and not have to wait until the 3AM EST deadline or whatever it is.

EDIT: ......I think I figured it out.

IF THE PLAYER YOU'RE DROPPING IS IN YOUR LINEUP, you have to wait until the 3am deadline.

IF THE PLAYER YOU'RE DROPPING IS ON YOUR BENCH, you can make the change.

Yes you did infact figure it out.. I hate when that message pops up.. I am not sure why you have to wait for 3AM?? I wish they could just count that players stats for that game and let you make the drop anyway..
