If all 3 are available in a draft this is the order I draft them:

    1. Cruz - especially because Manningham is no longer there. Him and Nicks will be catching all the balls from pass friendly Eli.

    2. S. Smith - hard to ignore what he did with Cam last year.

    3. Lloyd - being matched up with Brady is very tantalizing but I wouldn't draft him over the above two who have already shown they got chemistry with their QB. But, if Lloyd ends up developing great chemistry with Brady he could potentially be first on this list given Brady's talent level.

Cruz is easily the number one choice here IMO.

But if Nicks goes down, can Cruz be a #1 guy?? That is the million dollar question.. If Nicks sits out with his bummed FOOT, and Manningham gone to SanFran, teams can target Cruz a little easier..????

    Sorry guys, but I disagree...

    1. Steve Smith

If you've played fantasy football for years, like me, you'd remember this guy used to annually be a top 5 fantasy WR. For years he had Jake Delhomme throwing him the ball and quickly fell out of fantasy favor because of it. Enter 2011, the year of the Cam. A QB who can actually get Steve the ball... The bear woke up from his fantasy slumber and became the number 1 WR on a team that had the lowest margin of loss, nearly making the playoffs. Cam has put time in this off-season to avoid the sophomore slump by working on his mechanics, which has improved his accuracy. WATCH OUT!

    2. Victor Cruz

He was a beast last year, but remember, Nicks was out. I'm a Cruzer, I believe in Victor, but I also know that Nicks is the man in NY. With that said, Victor will get his balls, but don't expect last year's numbers.

    3. Brandon Lloyd

The man is an athletic freak, and could do damage like he did in McDaniel's offense like he did when he was in Denver. However, I have two problems: 1) Brady has been severly harrassed. I would go as far as to say he's been molested. NE's offensive line is garbage. Note: They will play the Giants, arguably the best D-line in all of football, just watch how they get man-handled. This one will be UGLY! 2) Gronk was already going to get his balls as the #1 target. Welker is 1A and gets a ton of balls. Both of these guys will be over worked as a hot reads if the line doesn't get fixed. Remember, Lloyd is there to stretch the field as a deep threat. How can he do that when Brady's pocket is collapsing?

I still think Nicks is going to have a better year than Cruz, and is the better receiver though.

It's close but I agree with this.

Newton/Smith mediocre finish to last season worries me a little

Cruz: even with Nicks back, he will still get the damn ball!!
Smith: in Cam we trust, just throw to Smith!!
Llyod: should be a solid addition but too many targets to spread the ball around too..
