Texas Rangers sign Closer Joe Nathan to a 2 year $14.5 million dollar deal.

I believe this is a terrific move for the Rangers. They get themselves a battle tested closer to assume closing duties and allows Neftali Feliz to move into the starting rotation. This also alleviates the pressure of losing C.J. Wilson, which most likely the will.

Nathan can still be solid, he should be much better this season. We'll have to see how Feliz transitions to a starting role now, but he's got the arm and the make up to succeed. Good move for Texas.
