It's a good hire for the Cubs. He's been a MLB bench coach for years, been in the grind, also has history with Theo from their Boston days.
Sveum was a valued member of the Milwaukee Brewers coaching staff. As a Brewers fan, I was sad to see him go. I wish him well in Chicago, but not too well.
