Need some advise in my 15 team auction keeper league.

Scoring is as follows:
Singles 1pt Doubles 2pts Triples 3pts Walks(Batters) 1pt Caught Stealing -1pt Hit by Pitch 1pt Home Runs 4pts
Strikeouts(Batter) -1 pt Runs 1 pt RBI 1pt SB 2pts

BBI (Pitchers) -1 pt Blown Saves -5pts Earned Runs -2 pts Hits Allowed -1 pt Hit Batsmen -1 pt Holds 5 pts
Innings 3 pts Strikeouts (Pitcher) 1 pt Losses -5 pts Saves 10 pts Wins 10 pts


Our roster is 2 Catcher, 2 Firstbase, 2 Secondbase, 2 Thirdbase, 2 Shortstop, 5 Outfield, 1 DH, and 9 Pitchers (we must draft our starting lineup first (meaning I can't keep four 3B)). We have a $260 salary cap and players can only be kept for three years. We Keep 12 players... which 12?

I think you're right on with your selections. Kemp is simply too expensive at 36 and you have some bargains in there like Ryan Zimmerman at 18, Neftali Feliz at 4, Hunter Pence at 14 and Scott Rolen at 1.

I don't have to keep 12 guys, who are you suggesting that I drop from that list?

Only guy I'm unsure about is Carlos Santana at $15. It's probably market value, so depending on inflation I guess he's a safe bet. Probably safer to protect him.

Ang, the only other player I'd consider keeping would be Bobby Abreu. I think that is too risky and I'd rather roll with a young catcher who possesses 90-100 RBI upside.
