My St. Louis Cardinals are having a press conference about something. Well, it\'s about Kyle Lohse. I think they signed him to a long-term deal which will be great for the Cardinals.

I\'d rather bring up young pitching than pay that. It just always seems your money in pitchers ends up sitting on the pine. Invest in big bats and build your pitching from within.

Seems as though the Cardinals have made a valid commitment for the future, however, they still need to aquire a first rate left handed starter and better stats at the second and shortstop positions.

Yeah, that is something the team always neglects. As an organization, the Cardinals never seem committed to finding good offense at middle infield. They always settle for defense with limited hitting. Not many teams are successful without a little power or at least plenty of speed from one of those positions these days. I guess Izturis does a little bit of running but I want someone dominant like a Pedroia. That would be nice
