- K rates are about equal.
- BB and flyball rates both favour Fuentes.
- Fuentes has more experience as a closer and is less likely to choke in the 9th.

Touching back on the Butler vs. Young question, Butler is slightly younger, has a better BB%, better isolated power and much better K%. They had similiar OPS\' last year but Young\'s was driven by a hard to maintain 34% hit rate while Butler had an unlucky 27% hit rate. Butler also showed growth during the year with a significantly better second half. The only advantage I see from Young is that he plays a true position while Butler is a natural born DH. At this stage I\'ll take Butler every time.

Pedro Alvarez - give me the youngin\' here. Cantu has been fantastic, then not so fantastic over his career.

Erik Bedard or Aaron Harang?

Both risks for different reasons but I like Bedard because he is a little younger and has pitched better in a tougher league. Although, the ballparks do balance that out a bit but I still like Bedard.

if by a little younger you mean a few months? lol - sure.

Maybin barely. I think there is more risk with Maybin though but the upside is sky high.

I think I\'d go Stanton here, came on strong last season with a tonne of pwr potential if he can learn to control it better. Villalona strikes me as a guy who is a larger risk. Big upside if he comes around tho.


Zach Greinke vs. Joba Chamberlain

This year Greinke. With Joba on a pitch count and his tendency for high pitch counts, I\'d rather have Greinke, who will probably show more consistency.

For where you\'d have to draft Joba vs Greinke as well, would make Greinke better value.

If in a keeper league, would much rather have Joba\'s potential however.

i can\'t stand the guy (and his inflated #\'s from Coor\'s), but he\'ll be playing for a Yankee\'s or ___________ (insert other overspending team here) contract and his numbers should float up in a contract season and afterwords, but not to 1st-2nd round value in my opinion.

Votto\'s power is already there, and has proven he can steal some bases, whereas Loney reminds me of Conor Jackson.

*evil empire being good because the wins/production/support will be there sooner for him and he won\'t be pushed in the pipeline to be a #1 as soon as Max will in my opinion. could end up replacing \'Mo one day, or could end up replacing CC/AJ as the #1 one day... but that\'s \"one day\" and not now - and he\'ll mow\'em down and bring the life to the mound with each start in that city which i like.
