I agree with this. He isn't a top 6er in St. Louis, especially with Schwartz and possibly Tarasenko next season. Heck, he isn't even a #1 PP guy anymore. The opportunities just aren't there for him.

I think he will be traded this summer, maybe at the draft.

I too agree w/above re: Stewart.
Chris Stewart has the ability to thrive in the perfect situation.
Keep an eye on him if/when he switches teams.

See: Hartnell, Scott when playing alongside Giroux, Claude.
See: Neal, James when playing alongside Malkin, Evgeni.
Also see: Stewart, Chris when playing alongside Stastny, Paul.

i think the blues will sign him. then it will all depend on tarasenko/schwartz... if tarasenko signs and they both prove to be ready... then stewart will liked be moved for help on the blueline...

Stewart is wasted on this team and I have heard rumors that Hitch doesn't like his defensive game and he's been in the doghouse since the change.

Anyway, back to the original question: I think this is still a score by committee team for a couple more years. They kind of remind me of Boston in the sense that they have these good guys, but no one ever steps up and puts in an 80 point season. They just win and play solid hockey.

Now that could change for both teams with their young guns taking the next steps. Seguin could pull that, and guys like Tarasenko could if lined with Berglund. I do love the idea of a Berglund Stewart line as that gives them someone who can protect, and bang in pucks for the finesse players. We'll see though.

As for guides: I usually read through the THN one, but find myself disagreeing with most of it. It does give me a frame of reference for where guys are thought to be by some like SeaDawg said. I don't buy them all and I can't afford to, ha ha. That's why I'm on here so much now. I learn from the best.
