Good! He hasn't been focused all year in the AHL (ie. playing video games for 7 hours a day), so if the trade for Bishop is what it takes to "Release the Lehner", than that trade looks better than we all thought in the first place.

So glad I just became a Season Ticket Holder for the 2012-13 season...and beyond!

I assume there was tendon damage. Depending on the severity, could be another week to 3-4 weeks. Not much on detail of the actual injury for whatever reason. For fantasy, its not that important how it was incurred, just how long it will take to get back in the lineup. Leave the gossip for the tabloids.

    Good sign for Anderson

THE OTTAWA CITIZEN MARCH 12, 2012
Craig Anderson is making solid progress in his return from his right baby finger injury and could be back at practice with the team this week.

Anderson worked out before the main practice on Monday morning, holding a goalie stick in his injured hand as he took shots from assistant coaches Rick Walmsley and Luke Richardson.

Anderson hasn’t played since defeating the Washington Capitals 6-2 in a game at Scotiabank Place on Feb. 22. At home after the game, he sliced a tendon on the pinky finger cutting a frozen chicken breast.

Still 2 weeks away for sure. Since its reported he definitely isn't playing this week.

The bigger thing is that he hasn't started practicing with the teams main practices, only taking light shots from coaches

Hmmm I stand corrected. He's now day to day and practiced with the team today

Anderson (hand) took part in a full practice Thursday, the Senators' official site reports.
Spin: While that's obviously a huge step in the right direction, Anderson says that he isn't ready yet for game action, but barring a setback, that seems like something that will happen in the not-too-distant future.

I read somewhere that Saturday was a possibility so maybe mid next week is likely?

Any further update on him? I sure could use his start on Saturday, as I had Luo and Howard play like fools so far this week......

Yeah plus no rush, Bishop is playing well. I'd suspect they won't rush Anderson and he will play later next week
