His 1-timer the other night was disgusting. For starters, the pass was coming from point-to-point at 75mph and he just wound up and wired it under the bar - it was beautiful. Hopefully the kid gets a shot of confidence down there and displays it in his next call up.

As a Rundblad owner, I have moved him into the 2-4 year waiting period roster slot and / or trade bait folder.

Not saying he is a bust but after the shaky NA start and now long lineup of offensive D in Phx/Quebec, it may be 2-4 seasons before he is fantasy productive.

What it is tantalizing though, is how he would look beside fellow swede OEL. They have a chance of making a dynamic duo, but when will Rundy get that chance to see if it works?

That'll makes it worth hanging on to him, if you have the patience.

It's nice to read this thread I am impatiant to see the Yotes in QC city next fall that will be a fantastic top 4 Defs. to start the new NORDIQUES.

Ottawa should of had him there in the minors from the get go instead if going -4000.

Producing points isn't the issue with Rundblad, it's his defensive game. He needs more time than 5 games in AHL to improve in that area. Without any major injuries to Coyotes' D-men, expect Rundblad to spend the rest of the year in AHL.

Is there any other source confirming this because I think roto world might be broken. There's like six pages of call-ups made by teams which is just impossible because there aren't enough roster spots for them all. Also it says Chris Pronger returned to action Saturday lol.

Yeah I had Fantrax tell me 4 players were called up, Hedman was off IR, but more interestingly, Filatov had signed a contract with the Senators haha

Don't really know why you'd quote that and laugh at it? It's not his -10 in 15 games in AHL that earned him the call-up. Rundblad is only up because of injuries to Klesla, Schlemko and Morris' leave of absence. You must have missed that Summers and Stone earned call-ups before Rundblad as well. So I fully stand by the post you quoted and I was bang on with it.

Don't worry, just ignore it. I fully stand by your post as well. Rundblad has a lot to work through defensively. Anyone who actually watched the games would agree 100%. Sometimes asking fantasy GMs to think about real NHL value is impossible.
