Brodeur or Quick?
Don't post these often, but for me to even have a slight chance of avoiding my first loss of the season, I need to start a goalie that will pick up a win and let in one or less goals. Easy right?
Yea - pretty much a hopeless cause, but if you had to pick between Brodeur vs. MTL or Quick vs. DET, who would it be?
Detroit is on a roll lately and have been scoring a bunch of goals whereas MTL has been pretty weak offensively. However, there's no doubt as to who's been the better goalie between Quick and Brodeur this year...

Yea, leaning towards Brodeur. Feel unlikely that he will let in one or less but at the same time I feel more confident of the Devils netting a win than the Kings.
This will sound contradictory but the best chance you have of getting a win with one goal or less, is with Brodeur. He has amazing career stats against Montreal.
The best chance you have of getting a win, is with Quick. MTL will be fired up after having they chains cut off by the firing of Martin. NJ is playing on the second leg of a back to back.
L.A has a lot to prove, and I think they will come out strong tonight.

This is not contradictory. It makes perfect sense to me and was my feeling exactly when picking Brodeur tonight. I think that game has a better chance of being a 2-1 game either way then the other.
