I am in a bit of goalie trouble and am looking to acquire Miller. I am just a bit confused as to how to value skaters vs goalies in a league format that is quite goalie-heavy. For example would two 60-70ish point forwards be a good starting point? how about a 70ish point guy and a 2nd tier goalie? I dont want to start off with a really high offer and 'tip my hand', so to speak, so any advice is appreciated!
In order to get an accurate assessment of your situation and of each player's value you have to first show us your team and the size of league/rosters. The answer you're seeking varies from one league to another.
At first glance I suspect that goalies are highly valuable because typically goalies fill about 5-10% of your roster while, in your case, contributing to 5/11 scoring categories.
