Wow. A Pepe le Pew reference on a hockey board. Well played! And to keep it relevant to the topic at hand, the uncertainty over Green stinks.
In fact, let's call it the Green Uncertainty Principle: the closer you are to figuring out what Green is going to do, the further you are from actually seeing it happen.

Thats why Phaneuf is the best!!! green is a girly man made of glass
Phaneuf: Better than Green right now? Yes.
The best? Child please.
mike green will never play a full season and will be traded away from the caps soon enough. Phaneuf was only bad in the beginning because he was unhappy in calgary then he had to get used to the system in toronto. Phaneuf is the best multi-cat dman!!! I would rather have wideman than green.
Green actually does have 1 82 GP season. But he really doesnt have to play a full season to beat out most other dmen. Hope for 70-75. The season he got 31 goals, he only played in 68 games. Spare me the amateurish hyperbole.
Obviously this past 1+ seasons have been frustrating as the ***** factor seems to be increasing. But some players go through this stage.
Caps are 7-0 with Green, 2-4 without. Just saying.

Mike Green (ankle) ended up missing Tuesday's game against Dallas.
He has sat out six consecutive contests with an ankle injury. Coach Bruce Boudreau said that Green might be ready to return this weekend, as "it's more now getting him back into game shape before he plays." Stay tuned for updates on his condition.

My pleasure Baumer!
Mike Green (ankle) participated fully in Wednesday's practice.
"It's a real positive," coach Bruce Boudreau said. "He did the battle drills, we tried to keep him out of it initially and he said no, he wanted to do it. Went right in and did it and said he is feeling stronger and stronger so that's a real positive sign." His status is still considered questionable for back-to-back games against the New Jersey Devils this weekend, but Boudreau is optimistic about Green's chances.
