Rask or Bernier for long term?

I have Rask in my farm. But I have this offer : Bernier + 1st pick next year for Rask.

I can put Bernier in my farm instead of Rask. I still have a futur (?) good goaltender + a first pick.

Good trade or Rask is way better than Bernier?

It's a keeper league with 12 teams. We just keep 3 fwd, 2 def, 1 goalie and 4 farm each year. The others players are free agent. So a first pick is huuuuuge!
Points only. 2 points for win and 3 points extra points for a SO.

I've got'em both (had them as ml'ers for a few years). They are both top talents, in my opinion ready to be top tier goalies. Thomas and Quick are frustrating the s --t out of me

I would grab Bernier and the 1st. You are essentially in the same boat (plus you grab the pick). I also have a hunch that Bernier might be moved.

I'd probably do this. Seems like a solid deal to me, allows you to hold Bernier on the farm and you get a first round pick in the re-draft.

Right now the two seem like a wash so if you swap them and get a 1st that seems like it will work. The only issue is that you might have to wait a little longer with Bernier. Though I do firmly believe he will get traded either this season/offseason/ or next season. He's just too good to be riding the pine this much and LA could use more up front.

I agree with the consensus. Rask for Bernier is a basically a lateral move, with the only downside being a greater waiting time on Bernier.

And even that is as of today with Rask waiting on a 37-year-old and Bernier a 25-year-old. If Bernier gets moved out of LA, that issue (likely) disappears.

So apple for apple + pick? Sign me up!
