One of the greatest offensive talents to ever play the game, coming off a season in the low-scoring KHL where he produced at a PPG pace, and joining an offensively gifted squad who's top 6 includes Giroux, Briere, van Riemsdyke, Voracek and Hartnell, I don't care if he's 39 years old, this season I'm drafting Jagr before anyone else on your list.

Horton coming off of a concussion as the safer pick? I don't know about that.

I'll put my vote in for Jagr.

Jagr or Horton for me. If you have a chance of protecting the player at the end of the year go with Horton.
I'd give Jagr a slight edge at the end of the season in points. He had a pretty decent game last night.

In my opinion, a lot of people are overrating Jagr this season. Which is fine with me, that allows me to focus on younger same pts type player.

Jagr is big risk little reward, since I don't think he'll top 65 pts.

With that being said, I believe Horton is a bit of a risky pick as well.

Personally I am taking Pominville out of your group. Buffalo looks good this year, and Pominville is always a bit underrated. I think he can post the same numbers as the 2 above, but I think it's not as much a risk to do so.

    Pominville probably.

You're saying pick only one? If it's only one, I wouldn't go with a risky pick in hopes of whomever having an outstanding season.

Thanks for all the replies, I tend to agree with the majority on pomminville. I know it's pre-season, but Buffalo looked strong again tonight.

Side note, anyone a bit interested in Setoguchi? Looks like he's going to start on the top line with Heatly and Koivu. Anyone buying he could put up 60-65 pts on that line.

Setoguchi will come out of nowhere and lead this pack, I think this is his opportunity to shine and with his linemates of Koivu and Heater he will hit 70 plus. None of these other guys will touch that.
