    Default Keith or Yandle?

I need to decide on a D-Man to keep.

I have Keith, Yandle and Shats to choose from. I think I can pick up Shats in the late rounds, so I'm not concerned, but I want to keep one stud defenceman.

    Keith or Yandle?

Unfortunately I can't make a good prediction because you didn't include the stats for you league.

If it's straight pts, I would choose Yandle. Especially if goals count for more.

    If +/- counts it's Keith.

Try to put in all the relevant information or people will steer clear of answering your post.

    Good Luck.

    Edited to include my stats.

Thought my signature included the stats - but it doesn't!

Thanks for the advice. +/- killed me last year - I was dead last, but that was party because of Keith and Tavares and Kessel - yikes. Hoping Kessel has a good bounce back year.

I dunno what kind of bounceback ur looking for in Kessel. I'd say he has a 15% chance to be a + if ur talking about +/- bounceback(?)

Oh yeah and I'd probably go Duncan Keith

I wonder if Yandle's +/- goes downward bcuz of Mike Smith? I can see it happening i guess

    I meant Keith, not Kessel.

    Off day for me.

    I see.

Yeah Keith had that 1 big pts year but usually solid in the +/- department. I would guess 50 pts with a +/- of +25.

Yandle had a decent +/- last year but with Bryzer gone I shudder to think what that might become with Smith and LaBarbera. 60 pts with a -10 maybe.

    Just guessing.

    Thanks for the update.

I'd take Keith with your cats, but it's close.

Yeah it's really close for me too. I guess you gotta choose your preference. Maybe the team their on. The players they play with. All that good stuff. I think Keith has the edge on all that EXCEPT Yandle is the Newest brand of Ferrari

I have Yandle in my pool, but I would recommend keeping Duncan Keith.

They will both be reliable for points, PP, shots etc. I think we already have seen what a "down" year is for Duncan, and it really isn't too bad. Yandle on the other hand has the better trade value right now but is most likely to see a bit of regression. Not much, enough that they may be quite similar in points this year.

Biggest difference is the quality of team mates. Duncan has the advantage here and it should boost his +/- back up to the +25/30 zone. Which is enough I think to give him the slight edge.
