Fowler for Seguin

The owner with Seguin just told me he needs D. I told him I'm interested in Seguin. Currently my skaters and goalies are set for this year with Myers and Fowler on my bench. The huge appeal of Seguin, for me at least, is that he hasn't been played in our league and is prospect-protected until he does. I can sit on him until he really hits his stride or trade him with that extra value.

Fowler and Myers HAVE been played and are thus vulnerable to being taken by other teams in future drafts.

Is a Fowler for Seguin trade fair? Worth it? Should I try Myers+ first? He might want more but it seems like a decent starting point at least.

Part of me thinks Fowler is a more valuable D that Seguin is a C. But swapping for highend young gun that's protected might even it up.

He also has Eberle.

I really think that Seguin will be awesome by his 3rd-4th year. This year in spurts.

Seguin is a elite talent with 100 point upside those aren´t dime a dozen. Fowler is a nice piece but there are a lot of good young d-men in the league.
Paired with the fact you can bury Seguin until he fully hits the scene this is a
TAKE IT RUN FAST NO TAKEBACKS!

I think Sequin has quite a bit more value than Fowler, that being said if he will go for it then great. As mentioned above Sequin has the talent to become a 100 point player. Fowler had a great rookie season playing with Vis but I think there is still a lot of other young defensemen in his talent range.

Try it, but I would expect the owner to come back and ask for you to sweeten the pot a bit.
