2007/08 Pool Guide

The release date of the first issue will be August 1. The release date of the final revision is the morning of Friday, September 21.

I won\'t be moving from this date like last year - too hard to accommodate every pool. When I moved the date up, I had all the people with late pools crying to me.

September 21 - firm. Like last year, I \'may\' do a one page release on the website a week later. It will depend on the time that I have on my hands...


So, I moved it up a full week - the NHL season starts Sept. 29th - in England.

Other than Free Agent signings, is there much of a change from the August to September guide? The only reason I could see people whinning is if they have to submit a keeper list before Sept 21. I love the list coming out late because then you have time to tweak the totals based on line juggling and guys that may or may not make the team.

Tonight will be like Christmas Eve for all the Dobber Pool Guide junkies. I can\'t wait to see what Dobber leaves under the tree this year! This tops trade deadline day and the opening of free agency as the biggest day for poolies everywhere!

The sad thing is that the pool guide comes out and then I need to wait another 6 weeks before most of my drafts start. This offseason needs to be done away with. 120 game season next year!

This is probably a bit late to be asking, and chances are, by the time I am at work and checking this, I will already know the answer one way or another...

but do you send out the pool guide at the same time to everyone? Only asking because it wont be 12:30 in Vancouver for 4 hours, but the site says the pool is 1 hour away...which wouldn\'t be confusing if the countdown on my computer also said 4 hours.
