    Here goes nothing:

    1. The Bruins, Sabres and Habs all reach the 100-point mark and finish 1-2-3 in the Northeastern Division, and 3-4-5 in the Eastern Conference, and the Sabres and Habs have an epic 7-game first round matchup.

    2. With the huge lift of playing in a Canadian NHL market for the first time, and with the rabid fanbase firmly behind the team despite a losing season, Blake Wheeler and Bryan Little each breakout with 60+ points each.

    3. Henrik Lundqvist wins the Vezina and breaks the 40-win barrier for the first time.

    4. Jordan Eberle scores 35 goals.

    5. Patrice Bergeron wins the Selke.

    6. Steve Mason bounces back with 30+ wins, and posts sub-2.5 GAA and better than 0.915 save percentage.

    7. One of Sheldon Souray, David Perron or Peter Mueller win the Masterton Trophy, and Ryan Callahan wins the Messier Leadership Award.

    8. Nino Niederreiter wins the Calder with a 30-goal season.

    9. Jeff Skinner and Derek Stepan improve on their point totals in their sophomore years.

    10. Josh Gorges leads the league in blocked shots.

And, bonus forecast, an Eastern team will win the Cup again, but it won't be the Bruins.

I don't consider that to be too ballsy a prediction (ok, somewhat ballsy). That kid is one fantastic, dynamic, clutch player, one of those guys who will produce no matter what team he's on, no matter what kind of support he has. Great player. That first goal he scored last year will be highlight reel for years, best goal of the decade along with the Toews and Nash goals.

I agree with this, however, "Hit Somebody: Part 2" will actually be his final movie. I'm stoked that he's decided to split it into two parts. Plus with Alan Rickman and Stephen Root, it should be pretty impressive. I'm a huge fan of Smith and very disappointed that he is calling it a career so young.

I hope you're right. He is one of the best two-way forwards in the game and this will be the year he gets recognized for it.

Vancouver trades C.Schnieder, C.Hodgson & M.Raymond to NJ for Z.Parise and Van wins the cup against Boston

D.Brassard breaks out for 75pts in 75 games , Dekanich takes the #1 and Columbus makes the 2nd rnd of the playoffs.

Nashville moves Weber to Long Island for Bailey and some picks/prospects and the Islanders and Nsh still miss the playoffs.

N.Khabibulin gets arrested for driving the Zamboni while drinking so edmonton acquires R.Emery and they make the playoffs.

Ryan Getzlaf spends 20k on hair and losses his game in the process thus the ducks fall out of playoff contention.

Brian Burke tells everyone he has several moves on the stove and freezes up from fear and doesn't make 1, leafs miss the playoffs (again) and thus is released from his position as G.M.

Carey Price skates off the Ice and tell's the canadians he will never play for them again and get's traded to Colorado for Varly and Mueller.

Once Calgary sees they arent making the playoffs they trade Iggy to Tampa for Connelly & Malone. Tampa then again loses to Boston in 7.
