    3) Kopitar wins the scoring title with 108 points, and the Hart Trophy.
    4) Phoenix makes the playoffs and LaBarbera ends up with 30+ wins.

    9) The Stanley Cup will be won by a team who didn't make the playoffs last year (yes, vague but I don't care)

I didn't crunch any numbers for any of the suggested trades, and they are rather ridiculous, so bare with me...

    The Blues win their division

    Brodeur has his worst season

Jordan Staal wins the Selke, gets point per game

Kadri, Colborne, Komisarek and a conditional pick are traded for Parise

    Havlat gets 80

    Lundqvist wins the Vezina

Edmonton trades Linus Omark, Gagner, and Hemsky for Yandle

Heater is traded to Detroit, has chemistry with Bertuzzi and Zetterberg

Joel Ward plays on a line with Ovechkin and Backstrom, nets 30 goals

Nashville trades Lindback to the Islanders for P.A. Parenteau

Reimer excels, Toronto trades Gustavsson for Magnus Paajvari

Chara 'Charas' Stamkos, southern Ontario and Canada go f**k** berzerk

Sheldon Souray has a sex tape leaked, gets banned from the league and joins WWE

" You said you don't give a f*ck about hockey. I've never heard anyone say that before."

Neglecting from the trades and the last two comically ridiculous predictions (that I wrote at the end of my graveyard shift), I do not fear my fearless forecasts. They are plausible, just as everyone else's are. Just as probable? Perhaps so, perhaps not. Seeing as you do fear them, then perhaps this is the wrong thread for you...

The two quotes above made me laugh. If I take the average of both predictions, Calgary will either finish 9th with a slight chance of sneaking in the dance.

Your list was fine - I enjoyed reading the trades. However, even though I'm a Parenteau supporter, I would not like to see that deal!

I will try to be BOLD and sometimes HOPEFUL

    1. Crosby plays less than 50 games.
    2. Grabner experiences the dreaded sophmore slump
    3. Brad Richards experiences a season-ending injury
    4. BOLD - Paajarvi outscores Hall
    5. Kopitar finishes top 3 in league scoring
    6. Stamkos fails to reach 40 goals and 80 points
    7. BOLD - Filatov scores 30+ goals and over 55 points
    8. EXTREMELY BOLD - The Calder is won by a player we least expect - Mark McNeil (Chicago) or Devante Smith-Pelly (Anaheim)
    9. Blockbuster deal occurs for Winnipeg trading BOTH Bogosian AND Little.
    10. HOPEFUL - Toronto finishes last in the league (Burke drafts Ryan Murray rather than the star forwards available that Toronto has craved since Sundin left).

BONUS: HOPEFUL -Youngblood snaps and hires a hitman to nix Burke.
