Love to see what Carter Verhaeghe does in a full season on the PP1. Just got on there towards the end. Finished the season off with 8 goals and 16 points in his last 16 games. His advanced stats show he's definitely a player who also creates and helps his team. Very good underlying numbers. Looked good in Tampa when given an opportunity, having two 3 point games, and before that leading the AHL in scoring. Every year he's made a jump forward in his development and he's only 25.

Most goals by a team in the salary cap era. We knew their offense would be potent, but they've been doing it like this all year. Pretty impressive

How does Tkachuk only get 2 games for that, with a history of being suspended 3 times and fined once, and Anderson gets 2 games with no History :/
Maybe I'm just being a homer... but I think Tkachuk should be getting much more than 2 games for that braindead play, if Anderson gets 2.

It was premeditated and unjustifiable. If Quick had an eye injury, it would have been a significant suspension.
But we all know how random the NHL decisions are in that regard.
Tkachuk sucks, plain and simple.

Tkachuk has 3 suspensions, and a fine for High Sticking Klingberg last yr.
November 4, 2021. Fined $5,000 for highsticking Klingberg. He was given a minor penalty on the play.
December 7, 2017. 1 game for unsportsmanlike conduct vs the Leafs for spearing Matt Martin while Tkachuk was on the bench.
November 17, 2017. 1 game for spearing. He speared Detroits Witkowski in the calf as he was leaving the ice. He was given a 5min+game misconduct on the play.
March 20, 2017. 2 games for elbowing Doughty.
Guy had 3 suspensions in 9months and the worst length of the 3 was the first one. Makes 0 sense during that span, he didn't get extra games because of his history. However, it's been 4yrs, 11 months since his last suspension, and by the leagues standards his history doesn't influence the suspension length.
This is more than a 2 game suspension to me though. 4 games makes more sense as it would be missing over a week likely. Suspensions should also include that the player can't be with the team during that time just because it makes it more of a "bad player" punishment.

To note, the 1st game back for Tkachuk is Florida vs Edmonton. Then next Saturday is vs Calgary. A 6game suspension would have removed these 2 games from the leagues money making model.
